Dickson Residents Group is made up of a dedicated section of the local community, who live in the area and have a wide range of skills and backgrounds, including town planning, law, economics, architecture, arts, science, engineering, journalism, research, history, project management and communications.
The Group was founded in 2011 as a result of the Marsden Street case, and has been actively representing community interests since. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmkv1jtQNGQ
The Group is currently supporting Downer Community Association and the North Canberra Community Council’s appeal to the Tribunal for a review of the decision to approve the Coles DOMA redevelopment of the Woolies carpark after it was refused.
